importer un fichier csv à partir d'un site FTP externe

Je pensais que je posterais simplement le code qui a résolu mon problème; il télécharge un fichier csv à partir d'un site FTP externe sur mon serveur local. Il importe ensuite le fichier csv dans ma table de base de données mysql locale. Une fois importé, le fichier sur le serveur ftp est supprimé. Je planifie ce travail dans cpanel avec cronjob.

Je ne peux pas m'attribuer le mérite du script, je viens de modifier un script trouvé sur un autre site. Je suis sûr qu'il existe de meilleures façons de le faire avec une vérification des erreurs. Cependant, c'est le mieux que je pouvais faire avec mes compétences limitées.
