Sur la méthode de mise à niveau qui n'est pas appelée dans Android sqlite

Je crois que votre problème est que vous n'utilisez pas l'un des SQLiteOpenHelper les méthodes de (getWritableDatabse ou getReadableDatabase ) pour ouvrir la base de données.

Vous utilisez plutôt la SQLiteDatabase est OUVERT méthode. Ce qui ne vérifie pas et ne définit pas la version.

Si je décommente this.getReadableDatabase() dans mon constructeur, la méthode onUpgrade est appelée mais je ne peux pas interroger les données et renvoie une erreur.

Présentation de getReadableDatabase , effectue ensuite la vérification et tente de copier la version la plus récente, mais l'ancienne version est ouverte et vous obtenez donc probablement un conflit.

Exemple de travail

L'exemple de travail suivant utilise le code de la réponse liée mais est basé sur le code et la base de données de la question (comme cela est vérifiable).

La classe sous-jacente principale est DatabaseAssetHandler.java , qui inclut un certain nombre de méthodes statiques pour vérifier et copier la base de données, notamment sous forme de fichier plutôt que sous forme de base de données SQLite.

Une sous-classe de SQLiteOpenHelper, basée sur DatabaseHelper.java de la question classe mais en utilisant les méthodes DatabaseAssethandler pour vérifier la version codée par rapport à la version du fichier de base de données (ce qui élimine le besoin d'utiliser la méthode onUpgrade ainsi que la méthode onCreate)

Enfin, l'exemple inclut une activité, MainActivity.java comme vous le trouverez généralement. Cette classe extrait en outre toutes les lignes de la base de données et vide le curseur dans le journal.

Une base de données a d'abord été créée à l'aide d'un outil externe avec 2 lignes dans la table du dictionnaire et copiée dans le dossier assets.
