MySql 5.7 Function UUID() classement par défaut - Mélange illégal de classements

(Ce n'est pas vraiment une réponse, mais une tentative d'isoler ce qui cause le problème et ce qui pourrait le résoudre.)

Accéder à une DATABASE avec un CHARACTER SET totalement hors de propos et COLLATION .

mysql> CREATE DATABASE `so40064402` /*!40100 DEFAULT CHARACTER SET ucs2 COLLATE ucs2_bin */
mysql> USE so40064402;
Database changed

Établissez utf8_polish pour le client :

mysql> SET NAMES utf8 COLLATE utf8_polish_ci;
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.00 sec)

Changeons maintenant SET NAMES seulement. Maintenant ça marche!?? Malgré UUID() étant utf8 !?
